you know...as much as it is nice not to have to move - and you have been there awhile...maybe its time to get out...
if the mgr isn't doing anything could you tell them that you will sue for security deposit, moving expenses, etc to move? any lawyers that can verify that this can be done...
my old roommate took our old LL to small claims court (while we were moving he threw out her clothes that were in garbage bags) there was really no evidence that he did it...just the fact the two of us said we didn't touch them...and she won!!

My husband works in Suffolk and I know not all precincts are like that.

Jamie...WTF is going on there??? I cannot believe this...I am so sorry that this is happening again.
I can't believe what liars they are also. Please go and file a complaint and contact a lawyer ASAP.
I hope Frankie realizes this time that you guys cannot stay there.

what Precinct are you?? when the cops are called by me they come right away they do! I know b/c my neighbor once called and I looked out the window and like five min later I saw a cop car!

Heather- be careful I may take you up on that.
But I am done. I have told Frankie with him or without him I am out of their tonight. I am alone every night and I have been threatened twice and the landlord is content to do nothing so- with that being said they win and I will have to suffer for it and move out. So I am stopping at the 1st prec. on the way home and then I am packing most of my suitcased tonight and then the rest of my stuff over the weekend. But I am thinking if my idiot DH decides to break the lease and come with his wonderful wife- that one last HUGE party with VERY LOUD music is in order- who wants to come!!!

I know how you feel. I have the opposite in my house. I have these CRAZY OLD couple living UPSTAIRS that calls our landlord just because we are talking. Crazy people!! They even called the police on the landlords son one time when he was mowing the lawn...saying that there was a trespasser on the property.
