Anyone want to start a walking group

I figured since so many of us are trying to get in shape we would be our own best motivators. Maybe in the evening meet in a designated area and do the boardwalk or a local park? Who's in?

I would probably be interested depending on the location. I love walking, but my walking buddy dislocated her knee & I hate doing it alone!

I am willing do go anywhere but it would have to be nights. I work until 5:30. I really don't have anyone to walk with. It's sad but I really don't have many friends

Evenings would be best since it is cooler and work schedules won't conflict as much. What about Eisenhower or Bethpage Park? Tell me what town you live in and I'll do some research.

I would do it...I'm in Suffolk...Lindenhurst, I get home at 5:30 most days, , later some others...but we could do a start of like 7:00 ( its still light out...we'd all have time to get home and then be home again but like 8:30....I would travel from say Bethpage out to say Ronkonkoma , medford as the farthest....do most of us live in that area...maybe someplace thats off of one of the highways so its easiest...Sunken meadow is nice too...
