OMG OMG OMG...they did such an incredible job at this house...and I LOVE that little cubby hole for the daughter...
I can't stop crying...that was so touching!!!

It seems TY really took this one personally. I love the comfort zone idea for the little girl and that HUGE doll house!! I want one!! The only thing that I didn't like was they took the Mother's beautiful quote and put it on the pirate ship and it was hard to see. I think it also should have been somewhere in the house for them all to see, unless it was and I missed it!! I am so happy for that family they deserved it!

They saved the original quote on the sheetrock and used it in the little girls room I think.

I watched it! Holy cow, what an awesome renovation. And I agree with swags - they shouldn't have put the quote on the side of the pirate ship, since they'd already put it up in the house.
How cool was the boy's room with the dad's flat bed as his bed??? And the gorgeous kitchen with all new appliances.
I couldn't believe how they took such a dump of a house and make it look that beautiful in 7 days. It made me cry!

I think they are going to be doing some more. I just read an article that said Sears has signed some sort of deal with the show to use only their appliances and tools and stuff like that. I think there are going to be at least 6 more shows.
I was crying at the end too....I cannot believe it..Crying???? At a home improvement show on TV? Jeez!!! Too funny. It really was good though.

The truck bed was actually something Doug had done on a TS episode once.

The little girl had an illness, I think Cancer or leukemia and they basically had to stop everything and put all their renovation plans on hold. They had at the time started redoing the master bathroom and had to stop in the middle. It was so touching listening to how this family pulled together!!!!

Couldn't stop crying!! All the kids were so appreciative of everything!! It was a great show!!
My only question is Ty said that Olivias room had real grass in it!! How would one maintain that?
