I've worn glasses since I was 6. They are part of me and I feel like I look weird without them. I'm not considering contacts, but I have never seen a bride in glasses.

I wore mine! Many people questioned my decision, and I heard plenty of negative opinions on it, but I have always worn them and I felt I just didn't look like myself w/out them. I went out and treated myself to a new pair b/f the wedding so it would be special in its own way. I was nervous about how they would come out in pics, but you can see below I had nothing to worry about. I have no regrets!!

if you wear glasses make sure you get the antiglare coating on them so you can see you eyes in pictures.

Thank you! The photographer will be able to touch up any glare problems. Have you had an engagement shoot yet? That was when I decided for sure to wear the glasses b/c they came out so good. If you are nervous ask your photog if they can do some test shots. Good luck!

agreed!!!!!!! You need to do what you feel most comfortable with! Just remember you want to look like 'you' on your wedding day...so if wearing glasses makes you feel more like 'you' wear them!!!! I wear contacts (have glasses also) and have worn them for many many years! I love contacts..I don't even feel them..they are very comfortable so for me that was the best decision on my wedding day. But thats also because I feel more like 'me' in contacts (because of how long I have been wearing them..since the 7th grade, actually). If you wear glasses more often than not, than in a way thats what makes you..you!

Hey! I remember you too. Thanks for the advice and well wishes : ) I'm going to wear my glasses...you're right they are what make me me and I think I would look funny without them.

I have worn glasses since I was 8 years old, but at 15 I got contacts. At first i was terrified about putting them in my eyes, but i got past it and now I dont go a day without my contacts!! I cant imagine wearing my glasses on my wedding day, its not really 'who I am' anymore, but if worst case scenario happens I may get a rimless frame with antiglare coating and take them off for all of the pictures etc.
