Anyone wear/wearing blue sapphires?

Beautiful earrings!!! I say go for it !!

I saw a pic of a girl on here who did a light blue stone in a ring... not as dark as a sapphire... for some reason I can't think of the name of that stone... but it looked great! I would do that before I would do sapphire because I think thats too drastically dark but thats just my opinion and I like very simple plain things...

I was thinking of aquamarine.

They had a beautiful one at Fortunoffs but I guess that's not going to happen now....

But now I've seen ones I love on Blue Nile - alternating diamond and sapphire. This is the style I really love

but someone told me not to get sapphires all the way around because they're softer than diamonds, so I may just get the gems at the top. I know when we're ready to buy, we will end up going to the person who made my e-ring in the diamond district...

im having a necklace made that is my moms ering diamond and saphhires in the tiffany style (diamonds by the yard its called i think?)

also i have a bracelet that is all sapphires that was my gmas, i will wear that...
