Since it's a hard match, does the dress have a veil that goes with it? Some designers make veils for their own gowns. If not, can your bridal salon help you find the right match?

I got an ivory veil with a champagne/rum pink edging. I got it off ebay! I was a little nervous b/c I wasn't sure it was going to match, ya know, with out seeing it first. But, it matches perfectly!!! You can get a really nice one off of there for less money.

i took a swatch of my ivory dress and matched it up with an off-white veil. The ivory veil came up too dark against the swatch i had.

I had an ivory veil. The salon made a mistake and at my first fiting, we noticed it was white. It didn't look right with my ivory dress. Luckily, we had plenty of time to fix it. The ivory veil looked so much better. Even if it's not the exact shade of ivory, IMO an ivory veil will compliment an ivory dress more than a white veil.

I have a champagne dress and a light ivory veil. Go to Barron's at Tri- county- they are the best and she has a ton of colors- they custom make them if need be....good luck!

ETA- bring pics of the dress to help choose the style- they have a TON of choices!!

they will call me back when they get an answer from the manufacturer if they can mail a swatch... I can't beleive they would say no.. right?????

but they still haven't called me back and it's been awhile...
