Anyone who is using or has used wedding center in commack

How are they?? I'm a little cautious, because i've heard horror stories about 'wedding centers' but i've heard horror stories about a lot of other vendors.. It seems so easy, jsut to get the invitations,tuxedos,limo,and photo from one place.. Please let me know

and if you know of any other 'wedding centers' on long island, i woud appreciate it.. THANKS

I used them, I LOVE them. They are great- I used them for everything except the dresses. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

My sister just used the whole package in March and everything was GREAT! Except for the bridesmaid dress alterations though. As far as limos, photography, invitations, video, flowers... she is VERY HAPPY.
In my opinion... They make it seem like you are getting such a great deal with the package. Keep in mind you may have to add some extras on... for ex. my sister upgraded her album, she upgraded the limo, she still had to pay 1/2 for the invitations, needed extra flowers.. In the end she spent the same amount that I am spending, and I picked each and every one of my vendors. That said, everything went fine with her package. The photos were nice but they were 90% posed shots (no photojournalistic) and for me I like an equal miz of both. That is why I went with a place that has 2 photographers for that purpose.

A friend just used them for her wedding this weekend. Just be sure to get your must haves for the photo. I swear the photographer must have taken 5 shots during the entire ceremony. He sat in the church pew until the end. They did not get any photos of the mom's lighting the unity candle or the mom doing a reading. I leaned over to my mom and said to her how little photos he took. Maybe being on here spoils you or something...

I got my dress from there. They actually gave me one price and I left a deposit, went home and found it $250 cheaper somewhere else. Well when I went in 5 mos. later to pick up my gown I showed them the ad for my dress and they gave it to me for the cheaper price!
I was VERY happy with them.

i just wanted to say that i went there to try on some gowns, but ended up elsewhere.i bought all of my bp and my gown and veil from a place that recently got TRASHED on here. My advice to you is go on better business bureau and check them out, but also go by your instinct when you check them out - and how they treat you. i have to be honest i was freaking out for a bit b/c the recent rip-appart was horrific, but my cusin who is getting hitched on July 1, got her entire bp, and gown, and mob and mog dresses at the same ripped apart place and they were wonderful - no problems - i also have experienced the same thing.

I just picked my dress up from them Last Sat. They were fine, nice and cheap, however the staff not so nice. There is only one really nice person there Helen. She's the only one who took her time with me everyone else . I'm not even going to finish the sentence. The staff is really the problem.....
