I am packing today... anyone know of things you can take in carry on.. my FSIL said even no lipstick!!!!
what kind of food can I bring? we are going to Hawaii and I will get hungry!!!!

I haven't gone on my honeymoon but I flew to Texas the other day. You can take food just not liquids in your carry on. No water or any liquids.

I just got back from Vegas - a few short hours ago.
You can take lipstick, as long as it is solid - no liquid lipgloss. You cannot take handcream, shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, mousse, any aerosol containers, toothpaste, mouthwash, gel or roll-on deoderant is also a no-no, although solid is okay. If you take any kind of liquid (gel or cream) prescription medication it must have the prescription label on it and the name must match (for example, if you got married six months ago and changed your name so your ID has your married last name, but your prescription is in your maiden name, you MUST change the medication labels to match or you cannot carry on the medication).
Food is okay, but any kind of beverage is not.
Basically, if it is liquid, cream or gel you cannot carry it on.

OMG that is like everything I put in my carry on. thanks this is a good question... I am also packing for my Hawiian honeymoon...it is a long flight to be without handcream and lipgloss!!!!

They made me throw my lipstick and chapstick out. I'm not sure about food....you definitly cannot take any beverages. No creams, pastes, make up, gels, sprays, contact solution.
On a flight to Hawaii I would think they would serve you food. Also, do you have a layover, maybe you can get soemthing to eat then.
