Anyone who ordered BM dresses from Davids Bridal.....

All of my bridesmaids are going on to David's Bridal on Saturday to order their dresses. One of BM's called me today and was upset at the fact that she has to pay for the dress in full. Did any of your BM's give you a hard time about paying the dress in full?

MIne where all ok with it. Maybe money is the issue? At first one of my BM's was not sure if she could afford it. I offered to pay for her dress but when the time came she had the money and would not take any from me.

I got My dress and all the BM dresses at Davids. I got my dress at the one in Westbury. I ordred the BM dresses at the one in Lake Grove. I laid out the $$$ for my girls. They both my SIL's so I know I will get the $$$.

Yeah my girls had to pay in full and they were ok with it. The dresses came in less than a month and they were all the right sizes. We had no problems with them.

Well the way Davids bridal works with lay a way plans is as follows. If you are purchasing a dress that is actually in the store (as is) then you can put it on a lay a way and they give you about 2-3mths to pay the balance. However, if it is being ordered it must be paid in full and all sales are final. My MOH (my sis) paid hers in full, it was ordered. But my two BM's put their dresses on layaway..thank goodness they had the correct color and size in the store...

none of my bm cared about paying in full...plus it only takes about a week and a half for the dresses to come...and everyoe does not have to buy their dress at the same time so if they are short on money they can order when they have it.....one of bm did that and she ordered it on jan 10......and got it by the 27....

No noone gave me a problem. At some other stores, you give a deposit and then they order the dress. Davids is different. If it's a money thing maybe you can offer to help. I did have one BM who wanted to wait till she had the money so I offered to pay for the dress, but her mom ended up paying for the dress. I just wanted them ordered, in case the dress or color gets discontinued! Good luck, don''t stress it'll all work out.

I am in my MOH's wedding and we just ordered our dress for her wedding (paid in full) at first I thought was alittle weird I have always payed 1/2... but our dresses are in already! It came in like a week and 3 days ~ she is picking them up next week for us all!

My cousin actually had an issue but then she said it worked out. Supposedly if you get their credit card you can work out payments with 0 % interest for a few months.
