Anyone with a MOMZILLA??!!!

My mom is being told that she needs 2 dresses!! One for the church and one for the reception. NOT EVEN I AM HAVING TWO DRESSES!!!!! Is anyone's mom doing this too??!!!

Haha That's kind of funny. Nah, my mom isn't looking forward to getting a dress because she's overweight. I wish this wasn't the case.

I have a 'stepmomzilla' or shall I step 'stepmonster!'

I called her tonight and she told me that she is picking out the flower girls dress (my 8 year old half sister) and I have no say and that I pick the color of the bridesmaids dresses and they pick the style and they are going to be different styles.

Really? Its my wedding I pick the dress! When I told her that everyone is going to be wearing the same dress she flipped and said that her daughter (my 15 year old half sister) is gonna wear what she tells her to wear and not what I say.

I responded with well then she isn't going to be in the wedding then because of you. I called my sister and told her that her mom just kicked her out of the wedding. Needless to say my sister is pissed.

She must have talked to the dial tone for a good minute before she realized I had hung up on her.

She is the only thing stressing me out in the wedding planning!

Is this your mom's first 'mother of the bride' experience? This is my mom's 4th (3 other sib's have already been married off) so I think by now my mom pretty much knows the routine - haha! by the time she gets to my youngest brother, she'll be a pro at this!

My FMIL is a bit of a momzilla too. Her newest offense? Going through my registry with a fine-toothed comb and critiquing it.

As for my mom, I wish she was MORE involved.
