Ugh my skin is sooo itchy and dry this time of year. I put on lotion all the time but it never lasts. Does anyone have any recommendations for body lotions or face moisturizers that help you? The only thing that helps my hands is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula but I don't think they have a body or face lotion but Im not sure. Any suggestions are appreciated!

put it on as soon as you get out of the shower and you are still wet. i use to scratch my dry itchy legs so bad they would bleed . my dermatologist told me that trick. the water absorbs the lotion into the skin.

I use dove nutrium moisture in the shower- body wash. When I get out I use baby oil gel and then when I get randomly itchy aveeno with oatmeal. Aveeno also makes a shower gel that hydrates and prevent itchy- it's an oil and works as well as dove.
for face- clinique moisture surge

OMG I have horrible skin this time of year! I started using Gold Bond lotion...it is amazing!! It really relieves my hands! I strongly recommend this!
For my face, I use Hope In a Jar....awesomeee! Its thick but it goes on smooth and doesn't feel heavy at all.

ITA! My skin is awful this time of year! I think I have tried every cream possible. I have found Gold Bond to be the only one that helps. I use the restoring cream and also the healing cream.

I use a cream called Lay it on Thick from the Body Shop. I put it on at night and it is amazing. Never any dry skin and your skin is not oily either.

Re: Anyone with really dry skin this time of year?
crashing-I have the worst dry skin ever, it's itchy, flakey, grossness. I recently had a body scrub done at a spa and it helped SOOO much! They told me to avoid products with benzl peroxide and alcohol in them as they wil try you out more. since then i've been using lubriderm and an exfoliator (Dove) in the shower and for my face I've been using Philosphy the microdelivery exfoliating wash. Face lotion I was using is Oil of Olay but recently switched to Arbonne this week and love it so far. if that doesn't work i'm going to try the hope in a jar for dry sensitive skin or for severe dry face skin philosophy makes when hope is not enough.
Honestly out of everything I have ever done, I think the body scrub (I had a milk and honey one) was the best to get my skin under control. dry skin sucks! HTH

Heather! I have the same problem! I am so dry this time of year. The second I put chapstick on my lips, they are dry again!
I did find a face moisturizer that helps all day long. It's the Aveeno!!! It's a big jar and it's AWESOME!!!!
As for body lotion, I use this stuff we got in St. Lucia that is AMAZING!!! And for my hands I use the Victoria Secret Heavenly and it helps but I'm sure there is something better.

Jojoba oil has worked wonders for me. DOES NOT cause breakouts and leaves my skin super soft. I usually mix in a drop or two with my normal moisurizer (Aveeno) and i am good to go.
ALso, Oil of Olay bodywash with ribbons is the best...I used to have painfully dry skin all over in the winter and this has helped a great deal.

My skin is extremely dry and I use Clinique Moisture Surge. Its very thick but not oily...hard to describe but you can test it at any Department store! I don't need to much to combat the dry skin either---just a little bit works!

for my face I use moisture On-line by clinique, only thing I foudn that really works well.
For my hands and such, I use Eucerine Aquafore, its almost like vasoline, but it keeps my skin soft and moisturized

I have really dry skin ALL year, but the winter it gets REALLY bad. but I dont use lotion anywhere but my face. on occasion I'll have DH put it on my back, but thats about it. I can't use anything scented because it makes my migraines 10x's worse!

AVON has an amazing body lotion for super dry skin.... it comes in a large white bottle with blue writing... just use that description and they'll know what your talking about.
I think the bottle is like $10 bucks and it lasts for months:)
