anyone with Verizon wireless know if you can text

a non verizon wireless subscriber? i tried people who have nextel and it says sent successfully but when i check the status it says incompleted.

I know I can text t-mobile and AT&T, but not sprint. I don't know about nextel though.

well apparently when it says incompleted it works because my friend just texted me back.

i know whenever i text someone who doesn't have verizon it shows it as not fully going through, but it always does because they always text me back.

i dont know why it says its not going thru though

My DH has Verizon and he texts his friend who has Nextel and he gets them!

The status will say incomplete because the enduser is on another provider. The same reason why AOL e-mail users cannot get status reports on e-mail sent to non-AOL users.

One provider will not have access to view another provider's client's info.
