FH totalled his car on friday and we were wondering if we bought two new cars from the same dealership if there is any deal we could get. This came at a pretty bad time for us and wed like to save money if possible.

I'm really sorry to hear that!
GM is having an 'employee discount' sale. I've seen some awesome car prices from that promotion.

Dont really know. The plan is to pay off my car with part of the money from his and then we will still have a few grad for a downpayment and such. Id like to find something so I dont pay over 300 a month or so but I dont know how realistic that is

repeat customers 'should' get a better deal. regardless of repeat customer or not, you need to work the deal. dont let them push you around. cause when it comes down to it, you can walk across the street to the next dealership.... they rather you get a car with less of a profit then no profit

I do not want another used car. I have had 3 and FH promised I could get a new car since Ive dealt with pieces of crap the last 8 years or so. I need a 4 door and I want an alarm, automatic dorrs/windows and automatic start...other than that I really dont care what kind of car. Im looking in newsdays wheels section now...

Re: anyone work for a car dealership?
My friend just bought a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and it is really nice and with a 10/100,000 extended bumper to bumper warantty they are under $300 a month. I was never a fan of the Hyundai but the new one looks just like an Honda Accord.

I hear ya. Well, DH works for a toyota dealership, and although you'd have to come in & do the credit stuff, as long as you do not buy a Scion, they should cut you a break on one of the cars. It might be in the form of a lower down payment, but it also depends on the condition of the car you are trading in, etc... Most likely you will get something, especially if you get them both at the same time. I can't give you specifics b/c I don't know them, but if you are interested in a Toyota , you can feel free to FM me.

All of GM (Chevy, Saturn, Pontiac, etc.), Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and Ford are offering employee pricing.
Definitely check it out of you are going new.
Look at Saturn... their prices are VERY cheap right now.
Or look at a Dodge Stratus.... nice looking car... good price.
