anyone write anything special to their parents in their program?
I would really like to thank my parents for their help and their contributions to our wedding. Has anyone written a 'special note' at the last page of their program? What did you write? TIA!!

I wrote something to my mom along these lines:
'The bride would like to thank her mother for all the love, guidance, and support that she has offerered during the planning of this wedding and all throughout her life'
I identified my mom by name above that where I listed everyone else.

we did a memorial to those who had died on the back cover and then on the bottom wrote 'we would like to express a special thank you to our family and friends for their love and support.'

This is what we included in our programs to our parents:
To our Dearest Parents: Your love and caring goes beyond any we have ever seen. Who we have become, what we believe, and our ability to look towards a wonderful future together has all come from you. You have blessed us in many ways we cannot find words to express. Through your lives you have given us extraordinary examples of how to live, love, forgive, forget, and to go on. Through your lives you have given us all you could, and then amazingly more. Thank you so very much for making this day possible. We love you with all of our hearts.

my mom made my wedding dress and all the BMs dresses, so i put a special note to her in there for that- i wanted all the guests to know about all her hard work so we did a ' thank you' page- one to my mom that said 'THank you mom for making my dress, and the bridesmaids dresses. i can't imagine gettnig my weddnig dress any other way, and i'll treasure the whole experience forever.'
the other part said
'TO our friends and family- thank you for sharing this special day wth us. your friendship, support, and love has made us who we are as individuals, and showed us how to love each other as a couple. we ask for your continued friendship, support and love as we go through our lives together'
