We're writing our own vows, and yes I wrote down everything I want to say, but I'm not sure how long it should be?
How long are everyone elses vows, if you wrote them or if your doing traditional, doesn't matter which!

hello, Fh and I are.. we are writing them together.. WE are basing them on tradition catholic vows but changing the words.. Rather than 'til death do us part' we will say something like' for now and for always'

thats very sweet! We are adding some traditional to written vows as well, but I feel like I may make them to long lol
I guess I'll just ask the pastor at the rehearsal next week!

we are writing our own vows...it was my idea and now i'm totally nervous about it.
im sure if its not TOO long it doesnt matter. have u timed urself reading it out loud? how long will it be?

can I post them? or is that bad luck? haha i dunno.. There about a min. or so I guess, I didn't try timing myself, but I'm sure the day of I'll be all nervous and say them sooo fast lol well I hope not

As much as I'd like to, I don't think I'd be able to get through them...I'm a cry baby lol Also, I've always imagined reciting the traditional vows on my wedding day...I think I'd feel that something is missing if I didn't.

We'r writing our own, which was kind of a shock, we booked our Cantor on 6/7/7 and when he asked about vows, my FH answed no, we're writing our own, before I could reply I avn't even begun to think of what to say...
