We planned on trying to keep it under $40,000 since we are paying ourselves, and when we got an amazing deal at the RH we thought we'd have no problem....but...
I keep seeing crap I have to have for my wedding that wasn't going to reallly be a wedding but more like a huge party but is now a full blown affair...lol!
I am definetly at least 10 grand over budget and not done yet...
Anyone else writing checks like a mad woman?? My FH thinks I am crazy but he has had no part in the planning so it makes me want to show him what kind of an awesom affair I can throw...LOL! I know he'll love it, but am I going overboard?

I think FH is trying to draw the line on the photo booth that I, once again, must have....but he'll get over it once its there...lol! I am being so bad with money!
I am never like this! But if FH can buy $160 t-shirts, yes t-shirts, I can have my wedding cake & eat it too...lol!

Our HM is definitely a separate budget - or else I'd have to admit I'm way over too.

yup- getting married at the same RH and getting a great deal as well. but it seems like I just dont have enough *cash*
ive been tranfering my CC balances like CRAZY to account for all the deposits we have to make!!!

I know, we booked a small, less inexpensive hall just to stay within our budget since we are leaving NY next year. Well, between my out-of-control guest list and all the stuff 'I had to have', we are so over it's not even funny.

We changed our budget 3 times. The first time we realized that our initial budget was a joke compared to what things really cost. Then, we had to increase that revised budget by about 5K. Now, we're just not figuring in our HM. Dumb, but mentally it makes us feel better. Haha. But we're not done....and I'm pretty sure we'll end up a little over.

My Fh has no idea what we are paying in full for this wedding. He only know how much for the hall, DJ and photographer and thats it. He doesn't want to know because he knows I have gone out of control and doubled our original budget.

yep we are about 15k over budget already (and not done yet) and the HM is going to be put off for a lil bit..... my FH refuses to use credit cards so everything has to be cash.......i have been house hunting with my future sis in law and bro in law cuz they are buying a house and each one we go to my FH reminds me we could have bought this one
