I have heard so many horror stories about bustles falling out that I was wondering if anyone's actually stayed in.
I think mine had a fighting chance, but with 45 minutes left in the reception, I was dancing and one of my friends wiped out on the back of the dress (like, stepped on the back and fell on the floor). She was okay, but it effectively killed my bustle.
Did anyone's actually last?

MIne stayed in the entire night. I was lucky i guess. I didn't realize that a lot of people's fell out

I had a simple french bustle and it stayed all night. My dress was very light weight and had a sweep not a train.

Nope....I said it at the dress place and the lady said ' oh it will stay in'
Welll it lasted about 1 hr into the reception until my cousin stepped on the back of my dress

mine fell out and i had 8 buttons/ties. I don't think it was the bustle/seamstress fault it was my wp for not showing up to any of hte final fittings to learn how to do it so it wasn't done correctly.

mine stayed put all night long with lots and lots of dancing!!!!!!!
i was worried cuz it was a 1 point bustle with a decent train but it held tight!!!

my bridal attendant did the bustle and it actually looked the best i'd ever seen it and it stayed all night! I love seeing the back of it in pictures!

i actually don't like bustles at all. i've only seen one that was done nicely, so I guess it depends on WHO you have doing it. That's why i purposely went searching for a gown that does not have such a long train. Mine's a little long, but not enough to have to bustle it up.

My bustle stayed in just fine. I was actually worried because I got it done at David's bridal- I wasn't sure what to expect. It was perfect.

Mine did. It came a little loose towards the end but was good overall. My SIL's was PERFECT for their wedding. It never moved!

mine stayed all day and it's still holding up! i have seen other brides bustles not stay up the whole night, but i can honestly say none of them let something like that ruin their day.

mine didnt I had a traditional one point... but i didnt care LOL I had a lot of help with people keeping my dress up

Unfortunately, my bustle broke while taking pics before I even got to the RH. (a GM picked me up and it ripped.. so he sewed it back together.. !!)
It held up fairly well after he fixed it.. until my mom stepped on it halfway through the reception, then it was done and I had to keep pinning it.

Mine stayed in all night even with a few people stepping on it. My seamstress used elastic loops which she said when not used, is part of the reason the bustle falls out.

i had like a 19 point bustle and it didnt stay people stepped on it a bunch of times but oh well it didnt stop me from doing anything lol
