Anyone's bustle stay in?

I have heard so many horror stories about bustles falling out that I was wondering if anyone's actually stayed in.

I think mine had a fighting chance, but with 45 minutes left in the reception, I was dancing and one of my friends wiped out on the back of the dress (like, stepped on the back and fell on the floor). She was okay, but it effectively killed my bustle.

Did anyone's actually last?

mine stayed put all night long with lots and lots of dancing!!!!!!!

i was worried cuz it was a 1 point bustle with a decent train but it held tight!!!

Jeez your lucky, i have a 17 point bustle.. For the price that sucker better stay tight all night!!

Mine stayed in most of the night. Unfortunately someone stepped on my dress (and teared it) the last hour or the reception. After that it miraculously still bustled so it was ok.

No problems with mine, except DH stepped on it and tore it a little go up the stairs at the end of the night. Lots of problems before, but it got all fixed days before the wedding and like 7 alteration trips.

my buslte stayed in all day and never feel or unhooked.. I had a complicated bustle with 7 buttons.

Mine did. and when I got home, I hung the dress up while we were on our honeymoon and the bustle stayed for the 2 weeks we were away. In fact, it stayed until I had it sent to be preserved.
