My company does one and it's wherever in the city (usually a bar) with appetizers and drinks. My dad's company has it at Terrace on the Park and it's WOW!

yes we are it`s going to be at the new hyde park inn. i haven`t been with the company that long so i`m kinda nervous about going there are 4 branches on the isalnd i`ll have to go meet tons of new people and i don`t think FH is going to come with me )0=

Yea my law firm has a company party in the city at some crappy italian restaurant, upstairs in this little room, with a DJ who plays nothing relevant and we barely have enough room to dance anyway. We cant bring a date, and its smack in the middle of the work week and it usually goes until late and we have to drive back to LI and be in at work same time as we are every morning lol
When I used to work at Rallye Lexus (my most favoritest job ever, might I add) we had our company party (with the other Rallye companys like BMW, Motors and Acura) we had some at Glen Cove Mansion, the Carltun, I also had another one at the Woodlands...

at my old job we used to have a nice party, there were only 9 employees so our party was always less than 20 ppl we would go to Lucy's in babylon and have the whole place to ourselves. it was always a lot of fun.
my new job, i'm thinking there definitely won't be a party. hopefully some sort of cash bonus. but i guess we'll just see. me and a woman who works there will probably have our own party!

Mine is at Tao this year. I'm new with them but it was there last year I guess also and everyone said it was a blast. Tons of food and drinks and there's a DJ and everyone dances they said. Apparently it gets a little crazy, but they shut the place down for us, we're a pretty huge company. So I'm really looking forward to it. I've never been to Tao but I heard it's really nice. Only thing that ***** is that it's on a Wed night!?!?!?!

Yea my company has it at the Cooperage Inn in Calverton soley because FHs company renovated it and built the owners house and the company i worked for landscaped it lol

yeah. Seriously, a wednesday, come on?!?! As a former event planner I know they pick these days because they're cheaper and they figure people won't get as crazy if they work the next day. But it stinks for us. I'm still excited for it though. That's great that yours is on a Saturday. I could see co-workers of mine def. doing things they would regret if your party was on a Sat night.

Our holiday party has been on random Tuesday or Wednesday nights as well. The last two years have been at Capitale downtown. First year, there was a plethora of food and drinks. Second year, I was so ill and my boss told me to go home. I'm glad I didn't go because they had only passed hor doerves, everyone got wasted bc it was open bar with hardly any food! Capitale is beautiful but i'd rather have more food and a less extravagant space!!!
