Anyone's FH a handyman??

Fh and I are planning on recarpeting our apt most likely this december. We are going to live in the apt upstairs FH's parents house. However it is in great need of new rugs and a paint job. Since we are not moving in until FH comes home for good- in Oct 2008 we want to not waste time and start fixing it up now so right before the wedding we dont need to.

My dad is probably going to help us paint. But we need new carpets. Anyone's FH a handyman or do side jobs and want extra money haha. I would much rather pay someone I know than Home Depot guys you know.

Or if anyone has gotten carpets recently where did you get them and how much if you dont mind me asking?!?

lol thats what happened to me we must have been replying at the same time lol

my FH does EVERYTHING. Not even joking lol Its his job, hes a property manager during day and oversees apartment buildings and the work being done and then after that job he has his own construction business and does everything from electric, to carpet, tiling, plumbing, etc. He just put in a brand new bathroom for his grandmother and hes building a new apartment for a friend of his in their house. Theres nothing he cant do!
Oh and my father was a carpenter for all his life, so I'm sure he would love some side work. Its up to you! It all runs in the family lol

Havent talked to him in about 2 days because he is busy with work and 13 hours ahead so he is sleeping when we are waking but I appreciate it and I would much rather pay someone i know i guess haha than home depot or lowes

Fh could do it but he would never have the time..

im lucky if he has time to call about houses!
