usually this week or next, is when the NYPD academy has it's graduation at madison square garden for it's latest class, and i wanted to congratulate anyone who's FH (or even a bride who might becoming a cop!) is graduating!!!

woohoo!!! good for them! my FH graduated on the 29th last year, and his frist day on the streets was new year's eve!
anyone going to the graduation? it's so cool, i've been twice and i cried both times!

I hope that you are going to the graduation....my FH graduated there about 8 yrs ago (he is now in Suffolk) but what a presentation they do.
To this day it gives me chills when I vision all of the white gloves going up all at once to salute the flag, officers, and the end of the ceremony. It is great!

No my DH can't be a cop, cause he'd abuse his priveleges and be kicked out of the NYPD.
My DH's bro-in-law is a cop tho. not to helpoful w/ getting us out of tickets!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the graduates!
My cousin has been a NYC cop for at least 15 years now, and his (late) father is retired NYPD. My friend's boyfriend is also NYPD.
Congrats and best of luck to all the rookies!

Hi all! Congrats to anyone who is (or knows someone) who is graduating the academy!! FH has been on 5 years in January. I still get teary eyed when I think of that darn video they play on the jumbo screen at the Garden...CONGRATS again!

My brother's best friend is graduating on the 26th at MSG. He is so psyched.......Just got his gin and badge! He is thrilled!!! Great X-Mas present for him and his family!!
