It's not to be unfaithful, but seriously, my FH doesn't wear jewelry. He buys me beautiful stuff from Tiffany and a lot of diamond items, my e-ring was more beautiful than I could have imagined and he wants to get me a nice band... but he's told me not to spend too much on his ring b/c he really isn't comfortable in jewlry - he was mugged once and never wore anything but a watch since. In fact he told me - 'get me another watch'.
Anyone else know their FH won't wear the band every day or who's DH doesn't wear the ring every day?
My dad never wore a ring and neither did Fh's... I know my dad wasn't messing around... Is it wierd that some men don't like to wear rings. Not to get into trouble, just don't like the feeling.

My FH says all the time that he doesnt like wearing rings really. He's going to wear his wedding band anyway b/c we both have a moral thing about it, but I know it'll probably take a lot of getting used to for him.

fh never wears anything in that department. he really doesn't want to wear one but i said we buy a cheap band you wear it when you can and all is good. I told him I really want him to wear it as much as possible and he agreed.
no reason to be uncomfortable.

My dad doesnt wear a ring much either. He works from home, and day to day he doesnt. When we go to dinner or to see relatives or friends as a family or when he does those things with my mom, I noticed he wears the ring. I never asked my mom if it bothered her tho. Its a comfort thing for him too. His ring has been so badly damaged that I think hes on his third band, which is cracked! lol point is he wears it when he and mom go out!

It's so funny - growing up I thought men don't wear rings b/c my dad never did. Nowadays, that was the way when I was single I could tell if a man was worth chatting to (if he didn't have a ring). FH said he'd probably get hit on more if he had one... he's kind of right - I get hit on a little less, but when I do it's more subtle than before I had an e-ring. Just comments that make you aware that they noticed your left ring finger.
My MOH is gorgeous so men hit on her before they even look at her hand! And she has amazing e-ring and w-band. I really don't think wearing a ring makes you any more faithful than not. My dad is a mechanic, jewelry on his job is a no-no unless you want it filthy or ruined. Cheaters will cheat regardless of how much gold/platnum and diamonds you put on their hands.
FH said he'd wear it when we go out or when he's out with friends, just not all the time. Who knows maybe he'll get used to it. He works from home and in sales in the field, but he talks to men all day mostly.

My FH cant wear his ring to work with his job .. And he doesnt wear anything jewlery any ways so he is tatooing my name on his ring finger .. (keep in my my name is across hes whole back really big ) lol...I like this idea ..

I love the tatoo idea, but FH will never get a tatoo... I have one, he's okay with it, but whenever I ask him if I should make it bigger or add to it, he always says no, that's good enough. He's like the first biker in the world to not have a tat.
I can probably get him underwear with my name on it as a wedding gift... how's that?

Alex isnt into the ring deal at all! But since the wedding he wears it everyday!! 1 day he forgot and it was funny our 2 yr old sees it and says UH oh Daddys in trouble!!! LOL

Yeah FH has a thing with the smell and feel of 'metal' jewelry...so he wants a tattoo ring instead. for the day of though we will use the ring is father passed down to him...which will be a nice touch since he is no longer with us

FH is an electrician, so he can't really wear metal. I was joking around saying that I was going to get him a rubber ring just to wear to work It doesn't really bother me, but I did tell him that I'd like him to wear it on the weekends!!

Exactly the same. My FH is an electrician and doesn't wear rings. He likes them and will wear them on the weekend. It doesn't really bother me though... almost everytime he opens his mouth it is to brag about the kids. He tells everyone he is married - not too many people realize he is actually only ENGAGED!

My FH does not wear jewelry either... he wears the watch I bought him. He said he is not sure how he will be able to wear the wedding band everyday! but I am sure he will get used to it!

My FH does not wear jewelry either...he only wears his watch when he's dressed up! But he will wear his wedding ring- he said he will just have to get used to it.

My FH says he won't wear it because he finds it uncomfortable. It bothers me sometimes but then I think, my dad never wears his and my parents have been happily married for over 30 years so I guess it doesn't matter.

I think he can get used to it and should give it a try especially if he's never worn a ring before, but if he doesn't like it its no big deal.
My FBIL is a vet and sticks his hands in places we don't want to know about, so he never wears his.

my FH does wear jewelry and barely wears his watch...we shall see what happens..if he tries to wear it and is uncomfortable and doesn't like it then he won't wear it..I know he loves me and he will wear it when we go out but for everyday....he may not wear it...oh and another thing....we work together for now for I wouldn't have to worry about him being in the office!

My DH isn't into wearing rings, he is in the FDNY and doesn't want to wear it at work (which I understand) so it sits pretty much on the ring holder until we go somewhere and I remember to put it on him
He was great about wearing it on the honeymoon and over the holidays though and will wear it when I want him to (which actually surprised me).
