anyone's FH/DH have to work on thanksgiving??

yuck... i hate it that my FH has to work.. he is a police officer and he even might get forced so that means i wont even see him on thanksgiving.. i hate it and he has to work on christmas too.. how crappy is that.. i hate his job!!!!

My FH isn't working...he's hunting! He goes away for a week every year.

Does he work the whole day----like a double? Maybe u can have breakfast or a late dinner together?

yea he works the morning till 3.. then they can be forced to work another 8hrs on top of that. so im praying that he doesnt get stuck and can be home by 4pm

My DH doesn't get off for Holidays so he's always working unless it happens to land on one of his normally scheduled days off.

This year he's working on Thanksgiving but at least he gets out before 5pm so we can still make it to dinner.

He'll be working on Christmas Eve which suckkkks cuz we're hosting it this year, and he won't be home til 10pm, but what can you do. At least he's off on Christmas day - especially cuz that's my birthday!
