Anyones FI like to display his sports stuff around the house?

My FI has his football, sports pics and a Knicks bobble head doll on display plus other things. We dont have an extra room so I have to pretend not to care. Too funny. Anyone else have this?

Btw, excuse my house it is base housing and we can't decorate the walls or paint!

You don't even know! It will grow as the days leading up to the world series get closer! Then I give him a couple days after the series and then it comes down. I didn't let him put it up the last 2 years and well you know what happened! So he said he is back to putting it up.

That is so cute. My BIL is like that with sports. It drives my sister nuts. If they start watching a game together and his tem (Yanks or Redskins) are winning, my sister cannot leave for the rest of the game because then they'll lose. The remote has to stay in the same position. He's nuts

Thank god FH doesn't like sports. However, the digitalia, as we refer to it, that has taken over our home can put some of your sports fanatics to shame. Let's just say that he has 14 computers in his office and 12 of them work.

I was just doing the downstairs finished basement and we put a pub table and bar stool in one corner and I put up Dale's Jet stuff in that area. But that is where it is staying... In the basement.

My DH doesn't have lots of sports stuff, but he's got THREE, yes THREE animal heads, two deer and an antelope up in his living room. It truly is where the deer and antelope play.

He also has a TON of other collectible things, NYPD related stuff, collectible action figures, and KISS stuff.

I have NO idea how on earth we're going to blend our two styles, since my taste is more, er, refined. I subscribe to Better Homes and Gardens! I don't want our home to look like a dorm room.

It's gonna be fun...

fh's baseball stuff is up in the room, but its from when he was a 'great pitcher' and only takes up a few feet so i dont mind

We have a finished basement in our house, its John's mini 'METRODOME' (Minnesota Vikings), he has autographed 8x10 photos of all the players, 2 signed Jerseys, a Randy Moss autographed helmet (actual size) autographed mini helmets, booble heads, flags, beads, lights, throw blankets, coasters, you name it and its Vikings, he has it. I gotta take a piture tonight. Oh wait so forgot to mention the basement has a full bathroom, yes it is, all vikings, from the shower curtain, to the shower curtain rings (little helmets), toilet seat cover, BOARDER, towels, shower mat, even a football shaped soap dispenser (Jennbaby can vouch for all this stuff lol)

Stacey thank goodness you have the basement!!! I cannot imagine that in my apartment. You can see from above what I am looking at and it grew today! I pray that when we get a house and Frankie has his own room it will not be that much stuff.

But thinking about it-- the best thing will be able to say- Frankie, honey I love you but you are p1ssing me off -- GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!
