Anyones Grandma/Grandpa walking down the Aisle?

My Grandma (Moms mom) is the only surviving Grandparent between FH and Me...I want her honored by walking down the Aisle...and our Grooms side has 1 more guy in it...so the extra can probably walk her down.....is Anyone else doing this??

Yea, I am! My grandmother is the only one left on my side. FH does have his grandmother and step-grandmother still- But his grandma is very very sick and I dont think will be here next year

On a happy note: my granny is definitley one to walk down my aisle- she is really like my other mother! My 2 brothers are in the bridal party- so I might have each walk mom and grandma down and then come back to walk with BMs. Thats one of my nightmares b/c my church is ever so BIG and long.

I am also not so sure if we will have his step-grandmother walk- I havent even asked or considered that. Actually, not sure if she will come. His mom's family is all in Hawaii- so very few will be there.

at my sisters wedding there was o nly 1 grandparent and i believe she was walked down the isle before the parents....

for me there would be 1 set of granparents and 2 grandmas, and i think i will be skipping it, but we'll still get them corsages

I would like to have my grandparents walk down before my mom is escorted down by my brother.

There are only 2 grandmothers - one from each side - and since it's tradition, they will be walking down the aisle. I will probably have a GM walk each of them down and then come back to walk down before FH.

I had my grandparents escorted down the aisle before my mom. I also honored my grandmother by bouquet to her. iw was surprise and she was so touched by it.

All of the grandparents will be walking down the aisle. The are going to walk down first, before the bridal party, FI's 2 sets first, then mine.

Both sets of my grandparents will walk down the aisle right before my FH's parents walk him down the aisle.

The same like alot of you, my grandmother is the only living grandparent between FI & I. So to honor her, I am having my cousins (her grandsons) walk her down the aisle at church and they will all be introduced at the reception.

I went to a wedding on 8/9 where the bride was escorted by her Grandma and Uncle. Do whatever you want!!

FI grandparents will be walking down the isle. We are really close with them so we wouldnt do it any other way.
