Anything Unique?

Anything Unique?

I know this thread is on the BHB site, but I just thought I'd ask my fellow '04 brides. Is anyone doing anything different and/or unique for your wedding? I haven't been able to think of anything, but I am hoping something will come to me. I am meeting with a wedding coordinator in a few weeks so I am hoping she will come up with some good ideas. Anyone else planning anything unique?

I am doing the scavenger photo hunt with the table cameras. I am not sure what else.

I want to do some sort of an art theme like maybe with Monet's waterlilies and maybe I could use a different waterlilies work for each table instead of names.

I got this idea from someone so its not unique to me but I loved the idea. Im getting married at the vineyard and Im making each table a specific winery from the north fork instead of using #'s. The favor is going to be a bottle of wine from that vineyard.

I was trying to think of ways to coordinate all of the colors. My bridesmaid dresses will probably be a blue (a darker blue).
I was trying to find ways for my flowers to cordinate with the blues in the paintings.

This is one thing that I am doing different. I am playing my parents wedding song and have them dance to it. Having my future IL's wedding song played and having them dance to it. Then we are giving our mothers a bouquet and our fathers a garter.

Nylisa...I was thinking of having my parents dance to their wedding song also. FH's parents are divorced, so it will be just my parents.

Question-My wedding is the day before Memorial Day, and because my FH is in the Army, I thought of adding little patriotic touches throughout the wedding. I found really nice American flag heart ornaments that I could get 200 for $170. My question is is that bad to have ornaments on the table or something since Christmas is in December and the wedding is in May?
