Anything you wish your MOH had done?

For any brides who have been there already, I am going to be my sister's MOH this fall and just wanted to know if anyone had any advice for me, based on your experience with your MOH (or from any MOH's who have been through it).

My sister is one of my besti friends and I would do anything to make her wedding day the best it can be.

I guess some advice will be obvious (be there for her, give her moral support, be prepared with safety pins and pain relievers, etc.) but any specific words of wisdom you have are greatly appreciated.

I have helped her find her string quartet, her DJ and I spent months compiling a huge master music list with thousands of songs/samples for her & her FH to listen to.

So, I've helped with the planning as much as I could. But just as far as the actual wedding day goes, any advice re: things I should be prepared for or even traditional roles that MOH's play? (I'm guessing that I and the BM will each hold a ring and I think I might give some sort of a speech but I'm not sure about that....of course if I'm asked I will)

It sounds like you've got it well covered. I'm sure you'll be an excellent MOH. The only thing I can think of that I wish my MOH did was plan my bachelorette. I ended up planning my own and it kinda stunk, but my MOH (sister) lives out of state and planning my shower was enough for her. She has two kids too. I did have another excellent bachelorette party in Vegas with some friends so that made up for it.
