Apartment searching

There is a slight chance, that Danielle and I may not be living in the apartment we thought we were going to be living in. If that happens, when is a good time to start looking for an apartment. We are getting married in august.

I would say late May early June. Usually by that time people know if their tenants are going to renew and who they are kicking out

FH suggested this to me and now you have me wondering...should we start an apartment thread? you know, everyone who needs an apt. or knows of one puts the info on this thread? what do you think? maybe liw could do one for us, like 04 brides or craft?

That's a great idea. One of my friends just put an apartment in her house and was asking me if I knew anyone who was looking.

Our agent told us to start looking in June. We are not even getting married until November I thought this was a little early but she said that during the summer and fall everyone is looking for an apartment

You pretty much have to take it - the RE market moves fast and I doubt any landlord would wait more then a day for a decision and committment.

btw, for those looking for boxes to pack up their places, ebay has some good stuff...i searched for moving boxes...kits for like $50 or less!!!

We're looking to move with our next IRS check (not this year, next AGH!).

I like his family and they seem ok with me here.. but we've been married since last Oct and will be 'formally' married again this Oct and honestly.. .. .. this is wearing thin on me. I want to COOK!!!!

I feel so uncomfortable here.

But I realize my patience will pay off (literally$$$)

I can't WAIT to move out!

We're legally married civil ceremony 10/23/03.
Just havent done the formal (gown and such) thing yet. That's this year.

My father knows. We are keeping it from my stepmother cause she's a b!tch and I know she'll say something mean and nasty.

His family knows.

I laugh because that's what everyone asks first 'Does your family know?'. It was us who wanted to get married. After dating over 3 and a half years and him being called uncle Jim for the past year or so it didnt seem a big deal. They knew we were having the big ceremony this year, who cares when the law says we're married, right?
