Apartments

So FH and I are looking for apartments. We aren't sure if we should live in a community or in like an apartment in someone's house. Does anyone know of where we could look? We originally were going to try and buy a condo out in like Middle Island or Patchogue since they are a little cheaper but its so far east.......
Ill take any advice at this point.

I live in heatherwood communites in patchogue right next to the 5th precent...we r going to live here until we buy a house. we have lived here for 1 1/2 years and while its not the NICEST area its nice enough for now and we havent had any problems

i looked at like 100000 apartments before I got this one and in my opinion for the price u get alot of room!!


we have a LARGE 1 bedroom with a dining room and spot for our whole computer set up and we pay 1129 but we have the biggest one bedroom there are smaller

we have a big 1 bdrm apt in mineola...1350 a month.

i think if u rent out of someone's home...it tends to be cheaper. to us the whole apt thing seemed more legit so we stuck with it. i would say look at both types of places and see what u can get for your $.
