FH and I are starting to look for apts or condos in Nassau and we saw these really nice ones by the Source mall on Old Country Mall, but I cannot remember the name. Any suggestions on where I can look?

Just be careful about those - there's a whole section of condos that opened up a few years ago right near the Source and they've been covered in plastic for the past few weeks. They all had some form of toxic mold growing in the air ducts and they had to clear them all out now.![]()
I think the ones by the source are called Archway apartments. I know they had a big problem with mold recently and at least one of the buildings had to be evacuated by all of the tenants. You can see the big piece of plastic or whatever it is covering the building if you go by it.
Yes it is definately mold. My aunt works for a lawfirm and one of the tenants went to her office and told about the problem. Tenant was looking to sue. They are way overpriced rentals also.

The girls are right about the mold- YUCK! And, those apartments run over 2 grand a month- def not worth it to be in the middle of a mall and office buildings. Try looking to rent in a house or something.
