because my dad and his wife went to spain yesterday, i was home alone for an hr, decided to try to do some laundry and i dropped my cell phone into the washing machine! yes - filled with water!!! my FI really has no idea what hes getting himself into...........

I will admit that I did the same thing once I learned never to bring a phone near the maching again!

Don't feel so bad.
A few weeks after I got my last car, my friend stopped by the check it out (teh day after I got the alarm installed). She left and me and FH decided to go out. I had the keys half sticking out of my pocket. I ran in to the house real quick to go to the bathroom and when I flushed, I turned and thought I heard something. Shrugging it off, we went to leave and guess what- I couldnt find my keys. After tearing the place apart, I realized I flushed my keys down the toilet!
I had to order another key and pay for a new alarm remote.
So I sympathize with you!

Ahhhh, so nice to be in good company with you all. FI and I BOTH locked our keys in our cars within 2 weeks of each other. Are we perfect together or what?

i went to take a shower one morining and took of my watch, it didnt have my contacts in and it was 6am. Well i thought i put the watch ontop of the vanity, and well, it went in to the toilet, it slipped down. oops
