Apparently it's bad luck that...

I don't plan on drinking alcohol at our wedding...

I am SO sick of the comments, seriously! Okay, so FH and I are gonna have a bad marriage b/c I don't drink alcohol... GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are pissing me off, now!

My sister had a 'dry' wedding. She is now married 10 years with two girls! Don't think it is bad luck. You go for yours!

are you serious? i never heard of this

do whatever you want...i didnt drink either and im glad i didnt...my face gets SOOOOOOOO red when i drink and everytime i go out drinking and see pics later on, i HATE that my face is so red in the pics. I had an amazing time without drinking...i took a sip of the champagne after BIL's speech and asked everybody to toast to us, other than that i didnt drink

this is SO TRUE! i thought i would have a glass of wine or two but instead i drank water the whole time!!! the day goes so fast there is no time for drinking! it is pretty dumb that somebody would say that to you!!

I think I'm going to just start lying to everyone and telling them that 'oh yeah sure I will have a drink' just to shut them up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am losing patience b/c people just should not even care about such a stupid thing like is the bride drinking alcohol?!?!?

That's just ridiculous. I am not goign to drink either at my wedding b/c it only makes me tired and cranky and I sweat and my hands swell. Jsut not worth it to me. I told FH he can drink all he wants (he's a happy drunk) after pictures. When he drinks his cheeks get really really really red.

Are you kidding me? I am NOT drinking at my wedding. Water/clear soda only. I want to remember every minute of the day and I know that I cant handle alcohol. I dont want to ruin it! I am with you....people keep making snide comments when I tell them I am not drinking on my wedding day! IT's just rude!

You are absolutely right, people shouldn't care, but for some reason, people feel the need to put their 2 cents in even when unsolicited. Ugghh

Where do people come up with this stuff..I am not planning on drinking at the reception. I was just planning on having the champagne, because I get sleepy when I drink.

I've never been a big drinker - I didnt have a drop at my wedding. I never understood why people cared so much about whether I drank or not...how does it affect their life?

I don't mean to laugh but people come up with the strangest things to say to brides!! IGNORE and do what YOU want the night of your wedding and don't listen to sillt superstitions that really can drive you nuts!!! LoL
