I think that's a choice on mine too. I'm torn on mine, there's so many good choices. I know the most common thing is a fruit dish, but there are other good ones.

My sister got married at CHCC and she had the pineapple fille with fruit b/c she honeymooned in Hawaii, you could ahve that and ahve the DJ play some music by Iz...way cool. I like the mozzerella thing too, but keep in mind not everyone will want to eat the prosciutto. I'd be really turned off if I went to a wedding and the appetizer was something I couldn't eat.

cooll....most of my guests love the melon with prscioutto appetizer but crest hollow doesnt offer it, and they can do it , if i pay the extra price, but the amount they charing isnt worth it for a slice of that with melon... HELP!

yeah, I see..mmm

lets see.....maybe some kind of fruit, maybe they could shape it interesting or even maybe they could leave it in the shell of the fruit and fill it with different things (like a bowl)?

Maybe add a poll and see how many people would eat the Appetizer and if you have different choices add those too.

I think if you make the appetizer something people will want to eat, then they will definitely eat it. I haven't made my final decision, but right now I'm leaning towards
the Chicken, Portobello mushroom and Cherry Tomato brochette over tri color greens with tomato vinaigrette and shaved Asiago cheese. That's the official description - I call it a chicken shish kebob over salad.

Mediterranean Seafood Salad: Poached rings of calamari, baby shrimp, scungilli & crab tossed in a garlic, lemon oil.

lol i'll have to do that poll when i get home tonite, but its 3 kinds of fruit plates, and the 4th is something with mushroom, ...but its really btwn the fruit plates...I'll do that poll tonite...u guys are great!

We are doing:

Warm Grilled Vegetable Ravioli- field greens with crisp goat crostini, cracked pepper, balsamic syrup drizzle.

Then a salad - we think we will do the ceasar salad - since that is the one on the list we think most people will eat

Intermezzo (variety of fresh sorbets filled in a fresh fruit shell)
