appointment with....

my first florist tonight. I wonder how it's going to go since I'm not completely sure what I want. This might be on my list of most difficult vendors to book.

Who are you meeting with. I thought it was going to be really hard too. I am not really a flowers person. It turns out that it was not so bad. I explained to the florist what I liked and what I didn't like. I told them the flowers that I liked and what my colors were.

The person I ended up booking with got it and I think he is going to be amazing!

I was really anxious about the florist, but the first meeting is just a discussion of what you want and how you picture your wedding. I was really really worried, but then when I saw the sample, it was exactly what I wanted. Just play with ideas and they'll be able to come up with a fabulous idea for you.

I have no idea either! I'm waiting until I decide on bridesmaids dresses & a def color scheme so i have something to work with

I went to see Flowers by Brian. I brought a pic of the dress I am hoping to get and some inspirational boards. I told them what color I wanted before showing any of my printouts. They mentioned all the flowers that I wanted, but didn't know the name.

Apparently I was better prepared than I thought. For the ceremony I had no idea what to do and they gave me really great inexpensive ideas. The price wasn't too bad after I bargained a little. I have one more appointment with another florist on thursday before I make a decision. But so far I really liked them.

All I knew when going to my first flower appt. is that I wanted high centerpieces. My first appointment went pretty well though. I took pictures of more or less the things I liked and they showed me pictures of centerpieces they have done. Good Luck on your flower search.

I have an appointment with one on Saturday & a photographer. Booking vendors is a little stressful!!

I definitely agree, florist will be a toughy for me as well...but I think I have too many ideas and like too many different types of flowers, so I'm relying on finding a florist who can reel me in and but some sense and coordination around my ideas. haha

Good luck, I agree with you too....seems difficult! I was talking with some of the florist at the JT showcase the other day and it was very overwhelming.

ive tried to book like one thing a month soo i didn't get soo overwhelmed..for example first i checked out all the flower vendors...we decided and booked one...took a break for about a month n then focused on a dj....it makes it soo much easier for the both of u...if u take time to enjoy it :) the hardest thing so far was my dress decision though
