Appointment with Bravura today..

for the ladies that are booked with them....
are you using the dj and band or just dj?
I realllllly want both but not sure if we can pull it off i know they are on the pricey side.

let me know about your expereince and your opinions!

I booked on the spot.. yes they are def more pricey, but you are getting live music. I think just for the DJ is $2000 which is average..

I got the singer (paul) and he plays the keyboard, and the percussionist. I think each piece is $800.. Depending on my budget closer to the wedding i may book the sax too..

I also got my uplighting through them..

And i got a steel drum band for the CH.. i think that was like $800

Singer on keys sings primarily during courses, low spots during the night when there's no dancing, or slow dances if you want.

It's the same singer from the band playing during cocktail hour.

For CH you get a choice of two bands island mystic ( steel drum ) paul is still the singer (hes that good that he goes from michael buble to bob marley) or city scapes? i think.. more jazzy and again paul is the singer..

During Reception.. paul sings and plays during dinner or slow times.. he is unreal. Depending on you wedding song, he can perform that too if you want !!

They are pricey for a dj, but look at it as a really cheap band!! THats how i got FH to agree.. they have all the elements of a band, but also the good qualities a dj brings..

I think i go the entire room and the full DJ lights (top lighting package) for $900

just got back from out apt with Bravura and I am even more obessed now than i was before!

I think I might have even gotten FH to love them He just wants to see 1 or 2 other djs to be sure we are making the right decision but I think we will eventually be booking with bravura!!

just curious to know what other djs charge bc i have no clue since we havent met with anyone else yet

FM was def cheaper... but they didn't offer the same things that Bravura did. I think for everything we wanted would have been around 2200 but we wouldn't have had any live music at CH or during the reception.

I was just showing this website to FH. Does anyone know if they have different live singers or just one? Can they sing Sinatra? This is very important to FH, thats his one wish! haha
