Yes, he came to all of them. I live on LI and he lives in Queens, so it wasn't easy for us to coordinate either. We booked our appointments on the weekends. For those that didn't do appointmens on the weekends, I explained our situation, and they were pretty accomodating. I think once or twice he had to come out here on a weeknight, which really is a pain in the a$$ because he has no car and has to take the train.

Re: appointments
FH came to all that we've done so far. I picked out the places based on research and recommendations and he came with me to book.
Only thing he's not coming to is Flowers. He's letting me do whatever I want and doesn't care too much.

Re: appointments
Yeah, I figure I'll see all of the ones I can with him, and the ones I can't, if I really like, I guess I can always make a second appointment with them with FH. Thanks for your thoughts!

Re: appointments
we have been to every single appointment together and he really doesnt mind (im sure he would rather be playing gamecube- but he doesnt complain) and thats how it will be for the remaining of the planning. Our schedules are identical (both in school together and both student teaching so its very easy ) best of luck to you!

Re: appointments
We have and will continue to do everything together, so yes, he has come to every appointment that we've had. It's his wedding too, and he really enjoys all of the planning. He even enjoyed watching one of my hair and makeup trials!

Re: appointments
as far as booking vendors - both of us went... but then when it came to details, he drove and stayed in the car and I took care of the rest

Re: appointments
No, the only appointment he's been to was the hall! And when we go talk to the officiant, he'll have to go. Otherwise, I don't bother him, or stress myself out trying to coordinate times. I go, and if I like what I heard, we discuss it, then I book it! I kind of like it that way, it's just easier.

Re: appointments
My FH only has gone to the hall and met with the priest. He has no desire to join me at the meetings and its much easier. I couldnt imagine him travelling with me to LI for every single appt. I also go overboard on meeting with vendors.

Re: appointments
my dh and i lived 2 hours apart while we were engaged, so it was basically impossible to get our schedules together to go to appointments... so, i ended up scouting vendors and going to appointments myself during the week ( i work at a school so i get done at 3 so i was able to go to early afternoon appointments) and then he would come with me on the weekends to the ones i liked. actually, now that i think about it- really the only appointments he went with me to were the caterer meetings... photographer, DJ and limo, he didn't really care about- and flowers he DEFNITELY didn't care about- if we had lived closer, he probably would have been more involved, but it was just easier for me to get stuff done myself during the week when i had time after school- and we were on the same wavelength wth stuff, so it worked out

Re: appointments
my FH went to all my appointments with me w/no problem. He's always really good about those things. And it was very difficult to make appointments because he's a cop and so his schedule/hours is always changing and of course you have to coordinate it with the vendors. But since i live out in suffolk, i double booked appointments on top of each other so we could get them over with in a few days.
*Most photographers/videographers are open late (until 9 or 10pm) so just call them or email them a few days that would work for you and ask what would work for them. Good luck!
