Re: Appointments for dress
I went to Lilette's and I made my appointment 2 weeks before. They were the only place I looked but you can also check out David's Bridal and Bridal Reflections, I've heard they have big selections.

Re: Appointments for dress
I would say 2 or 3 at the most..after a while it starts to get overwhelming and you can forget which dresses you like
Have fun though

Where do you live
I live in suffolk county but I was all over the place with dress appointments- are you willing to travel
I went to;
Iman bridal - glencove - they were nice. the shop is very nice , but its small and they dont have a very large selection but they have some very nice gowns
RK-Bridal - Manhattan
bridal reflections - carle place
Village Bridal - Babylon they were also very nice
Paradise bridal - Patchogue
Princess Bridal- Farmingdale - I personally wouldnt recommend them , they were a little rude but everyone's experience is different
Klienfelds -Manhattan - I got my dress here, had a great experience

Re: Appointments for dress
Bridal reflections. Also when you decide on a dress see if Burton's carries the dress designer. I checked with them for mine and saved about $200. Also 3 years ago my friend got an eve of milady dress. Everywhere she went to look at this dress it was like $3200. She called Burton's and they gave her the dress for $1800. So I would check to save some money

Re: Appointments for dress
Iman bridal is terrible! Iman is not good to work with - she is unprofessional and rude. She made a mistake and never admitted it (until much later in the conversation) and when i fought back on an issue that was caused by Iman, she thought the worst of me (God forbid someone speaks back to Iman!)
She then called the bride to complain about me and demand an apology (i purchased a bridesmaid dress from her store) - WHO CALLS AND INVOLVES THE BRIDE?!
when talking to my friend, the bride, she said she was having several issues with her as well for her own gown.
Girls, i wouldnt trust purchasing a dress at Iman - hopefully you wont either!
