I inherited my parents house and my FI and I are refinancing and the appraiser is coming tomorrow. With all the craziness in my life lately, I was not able to finish cleaning out my dad's office (he worked from home). I was wondering if you girls think this matters? Should I stay up all night to get it done? The rest of my house is in good shape... I am just stressed...

I don't think you need to worry about it. They are not looking at the contents of the house, they are looking at the structure itself. Don't stress yourself.

My best man is a mortage broker for a major bank and from talking to him about work it will not matter. The appraisel is based on the actual house and recent sales in the area, not the clutter within. You will be fine. Good luck and I hope it comes in high!!
