How do you get an appraisal for your e ring?? FH got mine at Kay's, and they keep saying that all the paperwork we have is good enough to get insurance. My insurance agent is not so sure they will be able to insure my ring with it though.... anyway i figure i need to get ahead and just get an appraisal from somewhere else... can anyone tell me how or where? thanks

Mine didn't come with my ring, but the jewelry store where I bought it from did it. They work with jewelry insurance companies so it seems surprising that Kay wouldn't do the proper paperwork for it.

Try Gold Old Gold in Massapequa. My FH bought my ering from them and it came with an appraisal. We then bought insurance from Jewelers Mutual Insurance.
