If you are spending at least $1200 to fly out for a wedding and dress up in costume for it and FH is an usher while she is a bridesmaid in your wedding, what's an appropriate gift amount to give? Oh and she is an associate of FH's company.
Reception is at a mexican restaurant, cash bar, in Atlanta.

where is the wedding? what is the guestimate for the cost per person for dinner ( I would imagine much less than here).... I would go by that and maybe take into account how close of friends/family you are to the bride/groom.

ah its always hard with destination weddings. We had one in Turks and Caicos, it was FH's roomate from college, and he was in the bridal party, we spent almost 3,000 to fly and stay and we gave $300. Depends how close you guys are

im with you! id say $100 or $150. Based on the type of wedding it seems you would more then cover your plates and if you gave $150 they would prob be making $100 from your gift.

I would say between $150-$200 seeing the type of place you described. Destination weddings are hard on people bc of the travel costs.
