I want to try to squeeze my cake tasting in on thursday before I do my menu with the RH since they are right near each other.

Not very long, honestly. If you have to choose a design, etc....maybe an hour? 45 minutes?

if you are just doing a tasting (anod not picking out the shape/design of your cake) it is more like 15-20 minutes
My bakery gave me a list of fillings and asked which i wanted to try...we picked 5 they gave them to us and then i asked for like 5 more lol that was it

We had our cake design with us and just tried the flavors. I think we were done in 20 mins.

yea mine did go by fast but there is no 'right answer' on how long anything wedding related takes..you have the people that know what they like when they see it who can take 15 mins and then you have ppl who take 2.5 hours like the woman next to me in the bakery

Ours was maybe 45min-1 hour. We looked at design choices while they prpeared the ckae and then they left us alone for 20-30 minutes while we made mini cakes with different cakes and fillings. Then they came back to discuss eerything
