Does anyone know how much a marriage liscence is New York is? Also approximate fees for churh..believe it or not our preist wants to keep everything spritual right now and didnt tell us yet Our church is out of parish but i have made my communion and certian sacraments there so i dont know if they are going to hit me with an out of parish number $$$$$$$$$.
I got my license today and it was $40.00 dollars. The church can run from $350-$500

My church is charging:
$400 for 'suggested' donation $350 for their organist and vocalist $20 each alter server (even though we're not having a mass)
And we're a part of this parish!

i paid $600 for my church and it includes music, if ur doing a catholic church don't forget about the cost of precana. for us it was $250.

It depends, you are probably looking at anywhere between 500 and 1k...including the cost of pre-cana

My church is $525 for everything related to the ceremony and $100 for precana.

Our church costs:
$35 for pre-marriage test and meetings $250 donation to church and priest $150 to organist $25 for programs (they do them for us!)

i am not getting marriend in a church or synagagoue we ar getting married at crest hollow- however i find it amazing that churches charge money for you to get marriend there.. i guess its like a business but i think its so wrong
