so far I have the church, the hall, band, photo/video, my dress and flowers. After looking at Cheryl's list I realize I still have a lot to go - I thought it was just limos, BM dresses, tuxes and invitations.... Good luck in your planning!

Re: April 04 Brides
I haven't done much -- the church, the reception, the dress, veil, and BM dresses. I am very close to booking the photographer and that's IT so far.
I have always been a huge procrastinator and hopefully everything will come together!

Wendy, you put me to shame!!
YEA!!!! I hope we have a spectacular wedding weekend!!
People seem most amazed that I haven't booked entertainment yet. I can imagine I'll have slim pickings the longer I put it off.

Re: April 04 Brides
We picked April because our dating anniversary is April. Also I prefer spring over the summer.

Re: April 04 Brides
Honestly, it was strictly financial. It was the latest date they had available that was still considered off season. Are you guys getting married outside or inside? I'm a little worried about the weather, it can go either way.

Re: April 04 Brides
I thought about the weather but then I realized I can't control it so I won't worry about it. Look at all of these past summer brides that had horrible rainy weather. Maybe we'll all be lucky.

Re: April 04 Brides
We picked April b.c we don't have anything going on that month. The fall is SO crazy for us, it's everyones birthday, anniversary... etc. It all falls in one season! Then starting in May is FI's busy season which lasts till early Aug. So those months were def. out. Then I didn't want to do it during the holidays, FI's cousin did a Dec wedding (2 days b.f X-mas) and got REEMED out by the family, so that was no good. So we just figured April was perfect for us! The weather can be absolutely beautiful, and of course-- the flowers!! I loved it. So that is why we picked April.

Re: April 04 Brides
And as for the weather, FI and I are nuts. We decided to do this: We are planning on having it rain! It's going to pour all day on April 17th!! Buckets and Buckets!
*We decided to think this way, cause if it rains, we won't be dissapointed (we expected it) BUT if it's beautiful and sunny, what a bonus and a nice suprise!!

Re: April 04 Brides
So far have church, hall, my gown, DJ, photographer & video, and am in the process of picking out BM dresses. Still need to do: Invitations Flowers Limo Favors BM &GM gifts FH & GM Tuxedos Book a honeymoon Wedding rings And probably a million other things that I'm forgetting right now!
If it's any comfort to you girls one of my very good friends got engaged in June'00 and was married in September of that year(and no she was not pg incase you were wondering) and everything was done in time and nothing was spared. She and her then FI were on a budget and the wedding turned out beautiful. So take deep breathes ladies
