My response date is March 17th... I plan on sending them out the first week of Feb.
I got my invites this weekend... they are GORGEOUS! I wish I had a pic.

Nevermind... I found a pic. But I changed them around from what you see here. I did NOT get the bow. I had our names moved up on the flap where the bow is now. It looks SOO much better! Then I chose a cream color paper with a sage green writing. It's gorgeous in person... this pic does it NO justice!
I ordered my invites yesterday!! I made the response date March 10th...this will give me an extra week for the stragglers. I am going to send them out the first week in Feb. also. Here's a pic of mine.
I'm not totally freaking out... but I'm getting VERY EXCITED!!!!! 99 more days.... I just can't believe it!!

Yep. I'm sending mine out that same week. I have my invites as well, but need to assemble them and get the directions cards. What stamps are you going to use? Are you going to use the new love stamp with the candy hearts?

I think I'll use the Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant stamps.

I'm having my mom run them through the postage meter at work...not very pretty...but I don't have to pay for it! Her boss said it was ok. (well...she didn't ask him, but he owes her since since hasn't gotten a raise in like 20 years! LOL) Since most people are going to immediately throw out the envelope...I didn't see the need to spend the extra money :) Oh well....

VERRRRRRRRRRY Lucky about the postal meter! OK I'll tell my little 'secret'
A few years ago I was an asst. to an evil, evil woman who got fired (the happiest day of my life!) Well she kind of packed up her whole office, and stole some stuff, and they had to intercept the boxes that she was sending to her house. Well since I was her asst. I had to go to the mail room and go through the boxes and determine what was stolen and what wasn't. Well she was stealing about $1,000 in extra postage stamps that we had used at work to send out special things to clients. Most of them were the $1 fox stamps. well no one knew that these existed, so I helped myself to a generous stack of fox stamps. So let's just say it's a good thing I helped myself cause now 3 yrs later I have 'just enough' to cover the invites. And I don't care one bit that they are foxes!!!
I wanted the new Love ones for the response cards.

I like them...it's a stamp. Nobody is going to care. 'OMG...I guess we can't go to the wedding...look at the stamp they used!'
LOL...not trying to offend anyone...but there are bigger problems than the stamps I use! You know? I will probably try to get the heart ones...or you could always just go with the standard flags.

Hi girls! Just watned to check in... only 80 days left!!! Are your invites ready to go out? I messed up our calligraphy disk big time-- I might have to re-do it! It went to the company they opened it and there were only 44 names on it.... when there are supposed to be 150! Hopefully everything is still on my harddrive at home and we can get this straightened out! Please cross your fingers for me!!!

Hey there! I did all my invites last week...they are ready to go...just waiting until Monday, Feb. 9 to send them out!! We already have our rings. We have an appt. with the hall next week to finalize menu's and linens and such! It's coming soon...I can't wait!!!!

Still working on getting the invitations together. I got the ugly 83 cent Edna Ferber for the outer and I went with the candy hearts for the response envelope. I didn't like them at first, but the pastel colors actually look nice with my invites. Still have to get the ring. FH is going to wear his grandfathers so it's just mine. I suddenly feel like there's so much left to do!
