April 2006-congratulations NEWLYWEDS! updated page 1

Went to see the florist last night and HATED the sample CP!!! BUT, we rearranged it and changed the flowers and I have to say, Danny was AWESOME, he was so patient and said 'if you're not happy, I'm not happy' So he worked and worked until I finally loved it. We made our final payment at that time. I can't believe I have all my major vendors PAID IN FULL, except for the Limos, which will be the day of (only because I've heard so many horror stories about limos breaking down and not coming on time).

The Hall we recently gave them a huge down payment and I think that'll actually be enough to pay for everything, since we got some unexpected NO RSVPs. I can't believe it'll be OUR month Tomorrow!!!!

Just 29 more days!!!

Print Programs
Print Tags for Favors & wrap them
Placecards
First fitting - April 8th
Buy undies
Down payment for RD
Final arrangements at Church
Final arrangements at Hall
Purchase card box (bought one but changed my mind - again )
Buy clothes for HM - This Sunday

I went to City hall this morning in NYC...to get our marriage license. If anyone needs the info just FM me. Not so bad.. we were in and out in 1 hour.

This weekend is my bachelorette....ill post pics on monday!
Tomorrow is the beginning of OUR month and im loving the weather.!

Hmm only a few developments....

Had my shower yesterday finally!!! Thanks to some of my 06 girls I now have a videographer!!! So now I have to schedule an appointment to meet with him. I realized he has worked with my photographer before, so that makes me feel better!!

Went to see our DJ today to go over the final song list. I think we managed to keep a good mix of things, although he said we can make changes up until a few days before.

The hall should be calling this week or next to go over our final arrangements. OMG it's scary just saying 'final arrangements'!!

Little stressed from this weekends wedding related activities:

I'm worried about flowers-I hated my second CP sample this weekend. I was honest and tactfully told her it was not what I was expecting. We changed a lot and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I like what I see on my wedding day. I think I am actually going to visit my florist the day before the wedding to see my arrangements in progress so that I don't stree the rest of the day and on my actual wedding day. I really hope they come through for us.

I had my second hair trial with my hairstylist this weekend and I didn't like it. He didn't follow any of the direction I gave him and now I'm thinking I don't want to waste time and money with him on a third trial. Unfortunately, I already put a deposit down for me and my girls for the day of AND I don't know if I can line someone else up (in addition to getting another trial before the big day) to replace him.

On a better note, I had my first fitting and I couldn't love my dress more. They are doing a French bustle for me and I think it looks so rich [I was afraid it would make me look like I had a second a$$, but it doesn't (surprisingly)]

wow, I really can't believe that April is in full swing now

Still have some things to do but we are amost done I think

Hey girls! I picked up my veils today and tomorrow is my final dress fitting and my menu selection with Land's End and my bachelorette party.

If I started to list the things that I have left to do my head would hurt, so I will wait. When I take care of a few more details I will start an official list.

Im at 11 days....i know there are a few others that are the same weekend. I think I am pretty much done. Making all my my last appointments, confirming things...

Everything is being dropped off a few days before...that wednesday.

I am a little bit behind you..but rowing the same boat LOL.

I finished wrapping the favors yesterday (wahoo) am going to finish the votive placecards this week. fh finished our DIY table numbers, and they came out beautifully.

now it's just making phonecalls...and getting VERY LARGE BANK CHECKS!

Maitre D' - $4 per guest
Florist - $20 delivery - no other tip needed
Photo ( 2 Photographers) - $100 each
Video - $100
Cake Delivery - $20-30
