UPDATED: Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!! WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours... Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out. Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting. I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though. oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.
What is everyone else up to?

Okay here's my list:
I have to prepare favors do placecards do table cards buy pens and polaroid for photo guest book seating arrrangement....once the 7 guests I'm waiting for respond! meet with DJ regarding play list meet with florist first fitting March 30 LOSE WEIGHT!

1. Final fitting 2. seating chart 3. wrap a favor 4. appointment w/ my dj and clergy. 5. wrap a gift for my bm and gm 6. buy a jewerly for my day

Things left to do:
We made final appt. for flowers going to see my CP on March 30th First fitting April 8th Called church to finalize all info, waiting for FH B.C. Have to wrap favors Finish seating chart once all RSVPs are in Final appt. with Hall Buy my shoes!!!! Get GM their gifts Print Programs Do placecards once RSVPs are in Get Moms dress altered

Final Fitting Placecards + Menus (ordered , just have to pick them up) Cake Wrap BM + GM Gifts OOT Bags...buy them OOT Bags..Stuff them Poems for slipper basket and Donation Faver Marriage License Pick up Rings...

37 days from now.... and I'll be a MRS!!!!!
Here's what I have to do before then....
bridal pictures lingerie shower family/friends wedding shower buy post wedding outfit another hair trial make up trials nails tan tell the baker what we want on the groom's cake finish buying attendants gifts pick up rings send them off to be engraved pick up rings again DIY projects for the ceremony: wish bowl, picture card box, birdseed bags, etc. finish addressing invitations send out invites.
What else, girls???

I have good news ladies!!!!!!! I am obviously one of the first April brides, if not the first. I was totally stressed until now. This week everything is rolling off my back. It's not that I don't care anymore, but being so close makes me realize that so many other things are important. I got news today that would've made me cry and freak out a week ago. FH wondered if I was okay when I just shrugged my shoulders and said 'oh well'.
So, I believe it gets easier! Keep your chin up!

Thanks so much! I have my moments where I worry and then it goes away. Everyone laughs and says I am so lax so I guess I try. Most things in life don't bother me that much but it is nice to know the closer I get hopefully I can be pretty lax still. The wedding stuff is not that bad but school and work get in the way. LOLThanks and since your day and our month is around the corner good luck. 8 days until April!!!
Quick Update: I decided to ordre chocoalate in addition to the wine favor. My father offered to do it all! YEAH!!! My final count is 88 including FH and I..UH OH. QUESTION?? Should I ask a few more people or try to bargin??? I know a few other girls are short too???? Thanks for any info! Cara

We were 25 under our minimum and negotiated. I say negotiate. People know this close they are the B or even C list.

We were waaaay under also, so my parents hit their B and C list also. They figured since they were paying for the dinner anyway, people should be able to enjoy it, right! Alot of my 2nd and 3rd cousins are now invited, but they were instructed NOT to bring a gift. Completely understandable I think. They should be able to come, enjoy, drink, eat, and have fun. They weren't invited initially, so I think it wouldn't be right to expect them to bring anything. If they do though, fine, but it's not expected!
BTW ladies..........5 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!
Watersprout, I'm very impressed at how relaxed you are! I had a mini breakdown yesterday, but it passed quickly. I feel like I have a constant flutter in my stomach and chest. It's probably a little of everything....excitement, nerves, anxiety, etc.

Weekend Update:
We finally bought GM gifts I got my shoes!!!!
Thursday is our RSVP date and we still have 26 that have not responded. I'm not sweating it. If I don't have them by the end of next week. I'll attempt to call them once, if no success, they are going to be considered a NO. I'm not about to stress over this.

I had such a busy weekend...
Picked up the rings Bought all the stuff for the OOT bags Finished my tables
Left to do: Wrap BM & GM gifts Stuff OOT bags Poem for Slipper Basket Make Golf Reservations for Honeymoon Send the Donation for our favor
oh...and i almost forgot...MY SHOWER WAS YESTERDAY! So much fun!

I finally found light ivory colored shirts for the gm finishing up bp gifts going for 2nd to last fitting tonight going to start printing out table numbers, placecards, etc fh bought his shoes
I still need: underwear for me earrings for me and my bp.
also booked my mani/pedi and my bp as well. fh is finishing up his gm gifts this week

Okay, I did some of it.
Here's what I need to do before the wedding.... I only have 32 days left. AGH!!!!!
lingerie shower makeup trial tan groom's cake (decide) finish buying attendants gifts (only 2 left) pick up rings send them off to be engraved pick up rings again DIY projects for the ceremony: wish bowl, picture card box, birdseed bags, programs, etc. send out invites finish moving and decorating pick out furniture with the MIL finish thank you notes buy neccessary things for house

Maybe because I am late April I am doing good too! Not stressed yet, amazing with so many things going one. I have to get a bunch of stuff done this weekend after I finish papers for school. I have been putting off grad school and I hope I get to bang stuff out this weekend so I can concentrate on the wedding. Most big things are done and a few little things. I have to get my OOT gift bags and stuff together. I am printing up stickers to stick on the bags, that I will get from the 99 cent store. I have to finish my votivve placecards and table numbers mostly done. Still lots to do but I think I have time so no biggie! Good Luck KELLY!!!!!!!!!!! OK - Programs, Menus, and Placecards arrived from Inkspun today!!
Left to do :
- Final fitting - Buy thigh highs - Get shoes dyed - Drop off stuff to Watermill - Meet with Laura (DOC) for finalize everything - Get DJ all info - Do OOT boxes!

Looking at my last list from a week ago, I'm amazed at what has been done since considering we were OOT for 3 days!!!
Song list almost finalized, FH just needs to give approval
Seating arrangements done
Placecards will hopefully be done by tonight
Everyone has RSVP'd - Our final count including ourselves & vendors is 77 (Just made our 75 minimum!)
Got outline from officiant so I can work on the programs
Got earrings, still need bracelet
Started working on the truffle boxes.
Have suspicions my shower is this weekend.
Holy crap, 1 month from tomorrow, I will be married and the first of the April brides are getting married this weekend!!!

oh gosh its like 23 days!!!
1) Print Programs 2) Print Menu (both all designed) 3) Fold napkins and tie ribbon (long story) 4) Friggin BM shoes!! 5) Wrap GM gifts 6) Talk to bakery about RD cake 7) make emerancy kit 8) Put tips in evelopes 9) Pick up Honeymoon tickets 10) Pick up last of the HM clothes and things 11) New, borrowed, old, blue and I have got a 10 pence lol 12) Type out timelime fax to vendors, w/ numbers 13) call photographer
once I get the programs and menus done, i will feel alot better!
