UPDATED: Amazing how fast this post came up and now all that stressing, preping, and planning is done. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!! WISHING YOU ALL A LIFETIME OF LOVE, HAPPINESS, and HEALTH. I figured everyone else's month pops up why not ours... Ok ladies where are we with planning and getting things out. Please don't ask me..I am so behind. I am off work for the summer and now have no money for deposits on anything so I am waiting. I have Duet -photo & Video and that's about it...I have all these little ideas swirling in my head though. oh I am sending my STD's out late Aug.
What is everyone else up to?

Janna, what type of a honeymoon are you looking for? Where do you want to go the most? I am happy to offer any help I can.
I don't understand, why do the BM dresses need to be ordered next week? Will they take four months to make? Obviously, I know nothing about BM dresses.

They take on average 3-4 months to come in, so they said to order it now just to be safe.
As for the HM, we're looking into the Carribean, and we need relaxation and nightlife with a nice beach and great service!!!

OK, I will get my girls moving on the BM dresses. We are scheduled to go out and look the weekend of November 5-6. I will make sure they order the dresses then as well.
There are so many beautiful places in the Carribean. We were thinking of St. John because I have never been there. We went on a cruise to Aruba, St. Thomas and St. Maarten and they were all gorgeous.

Check out Sandals. They are all inclusive, which includes everything! (Tips, top-shelf liquor, meals at all restaurants.) I have heard some other all-inclusives can skimp on certain things. You know exactly what your HM costs before you go! (Minus the gifts you want to buy down there, or very special trips away from your resorts) Many couples recommended them to us, especially Jamaica or St. Lucia. And my SIL, who was a travel agent for 15 years, never got a complaint on a Sandals resort. We booked Grande St. Lucia. Go to sandals.com and request their brochure.
I got behind on this post because I was too busy turning 30 and having pre-cana on the same weekend. I never question how things happen.
We just ordered the invitations today! What do we have left? I need to order my bra, which I am pretty sure I selected, but need help finding. (Check out my recent post on BHB) I also need to get the attendant's gifts, favors and ceremony stuff. (Unity candle, ring bearer pillow, etc) But we are pretty sure what we are ordering.

Sandals is way out of our price range, and based on a lot of mixed reviews, we won't go there.
Not to mention, FH and I are not big eaters or drinkers, so doing an AI is not necessary.

Just an update. I went looking for invitations and think I found the one. Just need to place my order. Ill look around for a picture online. Then I had a few makeup trials, and I think I found who I am using too. She works at the Laura Mercier counter at Bergdorfs. I had her do my makeup for my engagement pictures which she did a great job on, so I might go back and see what she would do differently for the wedding, but I really liked it. We also took our engagement pictures. Heres is what I have left:

Hi April Ladies! I am looking at invites and my cousin said she can get me a good deal on Carlson Craft, they sell them wholesale at her work. Anyone heard of them? Any info good or bad?? Also for you April Ladies, last question I will mail the invites first week in Jan. right after the holidays...when are you all mailing yours out??? what is your RSVP date??????? I am so confused as when to send out and when to RSVP by. Thanks so much!! any info would be helpful I am such a confused bride lately.

Sending them out either the last week of January, or the first week of February so it doesn't get lost with the Valentine's Day mailings. Our response date is March 11th.

We have our RSVP date as March 1st, one month before the wedding. It is the same date as when they need to book hotel rooms. No need to confuse them with too many dates.
We plan on mailing by January 20. We'll see.

Hi weekend twin!!
We have been told our invitations will be in next week. So, we could get them out earlier. But that would be silly. However, I'm the type of person that gets things done quickly. One of my BM said that no one would be surprised to get an invitation from me 4 months in advance. My reputation precedes me. Why couldn't I have been like this in college?

I am so behind I didn't even start with invitations. Congrats!! Post a pic when you pick them up!
I bought my ring pillow on Ebay. They havea lot of them in different styles too.

Cara, I love your pillow!
Today my girls ordered their dresses including one of the two flowergirls. I am very excited.
My MOH will be the one on the left. Of course her dress will match the band of the dress on the right. Sorry for the fuzzy pictures, but I guess you get the idea.

We have had our invites for probably about a little over a month now and I so want to get them out. The good thing is my mom and I are going to work on addressing them early so they can go out in the middle of January without me stressing or rushing as Jan. approaches. oohhh Pretty dress. I love them and wow you are moving along....I can't believe how fast time is flying. I am looking at invitations and want to start looking at wedding bands. It is getting late I can't belive April will be here soon.
