so as April and the summer approaches what have you done so far!? I only need limos!! to complete the major vendor list but how about the little things such as favors, and stuff!? i haven't even though about this!!! umm what have you done so far and do i need to breathe and relax until the summer to do these things!

I have Church Dress Veil Ring pillow/flower basket/ guest book card box tiara CENTERPIECES 40% off at Michaels!!!!!!!! Venue/caterer/bakery Toasting flutes Cake cutter/server The little things, I still need a lot though. The centerpieces took a lot off my shoulders.

need to do everything else but vendors are booked basically
I have priced invitations, stds, favors and have seen the bm dress but not done anything yet with that. STill have not looked for dress because I plan on loosing a decent amount of weight before even looking.
I have no vendors booked. I think I'll start with the DJ first, then photography, then limos then florist.

Hey everyone! I'm new to liweddings and started reading some post and came across this one. Our wedding is April 3rd, 2010. All we have booked is the reception which is at Island Hills Country Club (Sayville, NY) and a wedding planner who is amazing! Her name is Felicia from Glamorous Affairs by Felicia. After reading some post I feel my FH and I are a tad behind with things but hope to work out some things this week or at least get some things started

Ummm... yeah, that's it. Now I'm looking into florists and photo/video but haven't gone to any appts. yet. And I'm leaving for med school in July. Oops...lol. I totally feel like I'll be fine. There's no way in hell I'm going to stress this far in advance. As long as you have the RH, church and band (or dj), there will always be plenty of florists, photogs, etc. out there so I'm not worried. I'm working on it slowly but surely.
You are definitely ahead of schedule so I think you should take a breather!!!

so far we got:
stds hall church dj flowers photos rings hair/ makeup and my dress!!
we still need:
A PLACE TO LIVE!! invites limos bm dresses tuxes favors hm room blocks
we feel like we booked a lot for the amt of time we have left before our wedding... we're using a family friend for flowers, another family friend for makeup and hair so that made those choices easy..
now we're taking some time off to digest all that we've done!! lolol

Yeah we're kinda in a not doing a lot rite now stage too since we did a lot in the first couple of months we were engaged.
For those who havent booked as many things though...you are just fine. LIW kinda speeds up the process for some people because they think they are behind but dont worry about a thing...just book the major vendors I would say by mid summer and work on everything else slowly but surely. no worries!
