i think my mom dislikes the april fools thing so she may make a big deal about Palm Sunday as an excuse. It might be easier to just do it the week before.

Palm sunday isn't THAT big a thing. We celebrate it with one side of oru family and then celebrate easter with the other side. But if someone had a wedding, we would probably go. With that said, I don't know many other families that celebrate palm sunday

I think it would be cute to have an April Fool's wedding! I'm getting married on a friday the 13th!

As a Catholic, yes Palm Sunday is pretty important, but if you had an evening reception I don't see why your Catholic guests couldn't go to mass in the morning before the wedding. Wedding on Easter? no. Wedding on Palm Sunday? IMO, doable. I would never do it, but I would definitely attend a friend's wedding on a Palm Sunday.

HTH!

I say go for it!!!!! Palm Sunday is not as huge as Easter Sunday. I'm sure ppl can go to double masses in one day if they really want their palms. I don't see how palm sunday could interfere with your evening reception.
