I was there last June, it was really pretty. I was also there this fall, and both times I found it very peaceful. Seems like not a lot of people go there. But I thought it was beautiful.

We are doing our pictures there in August. I've been there during all seasons (and gotten kicked out a time or two - they don't like runners running in there!) and it is beautiful year round.

that place is very nice!! I could be totally wrong so dont' quote me but I think for wedding pics there is just a vechile use fee--no like grounds use fee--it is beautiful there in the Spring with the Lake and the mansion and all the flowers blooming!

It's very, very pretty. I go there all the time, since I live pretty close by. Just two words of caution... Goose Poop!! Sometimes it gets pretty bad and is EVERYWHERE.
Especially in that big open grassy field. It's like a mine field.
But it really is a beautiful place!

Where is your reception?? The Planting Fields Arboreteum in Oyster Bay is also very, very nice. That's where I'm having my pics done. And the Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport is very pretty, too!

My reception site is the Watermill which is in smithtown but we are coming from Farmingdale which is on the south shore so i know centerport would be out of the way but i am not sure baout anywhere else?
